Information
Peter
Lambert has a very comprehensive engineering background having served his time on the
shop floor and in the drawing office.
His practical
experience is engineering based from building steam engines, repairing heavy plant and
transport through to lecturing on service and engineering matters.
For a number
of years he travelled the country and parts of the world as a service engineer dealing
with engineering problems.
His
most recent posts, before setting up PowerLine, have been plant and transport
manager, general manager and managing director for a large national PLC.
During this time he controlled a large base workshop for plant and transport
with its own comprehensive engine re-build and test and diesel pump repair
facility.
In
1984 he decided that there was demand for a good, competent and competitive
independent diesel fuel injection specialist to compete with the OEM's.
And PowerLine was formed.
